NEED HELP ATTENDING THE REUNION?

iCARE is here to help! iCARE is a benevolence program administered by LEMFHA to support two areas: 1) persons needing financial assistance to attend the reunion. Assistance is aimed at those experiencing financial difficulty and having no other recourse (family, friends); 2) educational scholarship for family members pursuing a college education.
  1. DISCLAIMER: LEMFHA makes no warranty of its ability to assist anyone requesting help.  LEMFHA makes no commitment of funds being available from members to help others. LEMFHA does guarantee that all money designated to iCARE will be used exclusively for either the financial assistance or educational progam.
  2. Anyone desiring financial assistance to get to the Reunion must submit their request through the Contact Us page on the website.  If you know of someone who needs help, tell them about iCARE.  If necessary, help them navigate the website to properly submit their request.  All requests for financial help must be in writing. No requests will be taken by phone.
  3. Recipients of iCARE to attend the Reunion may receive financial help in one of two areas -- hotel expense or cost of reunion events. No money or cash will be given directly to members receiving assistance. Money may only be paid directly to the hotel or venue for lodging or events.
  4. Anyone seeking help will be treated with the utmost dignity and respect. Your name will not be divulged.The strictest confidentiality will be required of Reunion personnel who may be privy to your request or involved in the allocation process.  However, there will be detailed accounting and reporting of all iCARE funds.
  5. We all could use additional money to put toward the Reunion.  PLEASE... iCARE is intended to help people who are truly committed to attending the Reunion but genuinely need help.  Consider this... the more people who request help, the less money available per person.  And don't forget, iCARE also supports scholarships for higher education.

REGISTRATION & PAYMENT OPTIONS...

Two registration/payment options are offered on the registration page:

OPTION 1.  Pay in full when you register. That's it. You're done. You don't have to think about it anymore!

OPTION 2. Pay the deposit amount that automatically shows up after you choose your package. Sorry, you can not change the auto deposit amount.
  • If you choose to pay the deposit, the full balance will automatically be paid on your credit card by the due date of June 8. You still don't have to think about it.  The final payment is automatically made for you!
OPTION 3. a) Make your first payment consisting of the auto deposit amount.  b) Create an account.  c) Decide what you want to pay and manually MAKE INSTALLMENT PAYMENTS ON YOUR ACCOUNT WHENEVER YOU WANT. (Sorry, automatic monthly installment option is not yet available.)
 
FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES TO EXERCISE OPTION 3:
  • If you want to make installment payments on your balance before the due date of June 8, you must create an account where you can manage your payments.  1) Make your first payment; 2) Create your account by clicking on the red and yellow  Manage My Account tab here or on other pages on the website.  3) When you want to pay, click  Manage My Account and go to the yellow highlight bar in your account and pay the amount you want.  It's that simple!  You decide how much, and when, to pay.  There aren't any recurring installment payments but you have total control.  If your credit card information is the same as when you first paid, your payment should go right through.
